Who We Are and What We Believe

Our Mission Statement

"To glorify God by making disciples through winning and building people in Christ."

Our Statement of Faith

  • We believe the Bible to be inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
  • We believe that there is only one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
  • We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless llife, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
  • We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential, i.e. one must be "born again" (c.f. Romans 10:9-13).
  • We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
  • We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
  • We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
  • We believe in the eternal security and the priesthood of the individual believer.

Our Seven Purposes

  1. Worship is honoring God's presence and character as we experience communion with the living and holy God.
  2. Evangelism is proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit and seeing people respond in faith and acceptance in Jesus as Lord and Savior.
  3. Missions is participation in God's plan to evangelize persons at home and around the world.
  4. Discipleship is training and equipping God's people in Christian living by instructing and applying the Bible to every area of life with the goal of building up each member to maturity in Christ.
  5. Ministry is extending God's love by meeting needs in Jesus' name.
  6. Fellowship is expressing our unity in Christ by loving one another and encouraging one another towards greater Christ likeness.
  7. Prayer is our communication with God.
